Make practice count.

A few simple ways to give your next study session a clear purpose.

01

Give the session a job.

Choose one topic you want to practise. Read the instructions, put away your notes and set a timer. Keep the goal small enough to finish in one sitting.

02

Make a useful mistake list.

When you check your work, write down what went wrong: a concept, a calculation or a missed instruction. Revisit the idea, then try a similar question without looking at your first solution.

03

Leave room to revisit.

Spread practice across your remaining time. Use short reviews to check earlier mistakes. A revision sheet can help organise a final review, but keep referring to your course specification for the full scope.

Put your plan into practice.
