Who we are
This website and the NUM8ERS Prediction Papers marketplace are operated by NUM8ERS (“NUM8ERS”, “we”, “us” or “our”). For privacy questions or requests, contact us at [email protected].
This policy applies when you browse predictionpaper.num8ers.com, create an account, make a purchase, download a resource, submit a review, contact us, or otherwise use the marketplace.
Personal data we collect
We collect only the information needed to operate, secure and support the marketplace.
- Account data: your name, email address, password hash, account identifiers and sign-in or password-reset records. We do not store your plain-text password.
- Purchase data: order reference, purchased bundles, prices, discounts, currency, tax, payment status, payment-provider references and receipt status.
- Payment data: Stripe processes card and billing details on its secure checkout. We receive transaction identifiers and payment status, but we do not store full card numbers or card security codes.
- Delivery and security data: download-token records, download time, IP address, browser or device user agent, session data, and technical logs used to deliver files and prevent misuse.
- Content and support data: reviews, ratings, messages, and information you provide when asking for help.
- Browser storage: your shopping bag is saved in local storage and your storefront access token is kept in session storage so the site can remember your bag and signed-in session.
How and why we use personal data
We process data where it is necessary to provide the service or perform a purchase contract, where we have a legitimate operational or security need, where you have given valid consent, or where the law requires or permits the processing.
- To create and secure your account, authenticate you and reset your password.
- To calculate prices, process payments, issue receipts and maintain transaction records.
- To provide My Purchases, generate limited-time download links and apply personalised watermarks where enabled.
- To answer support requests, investigate payment or delivery problems and resolve complaints.
- To prevent fraud, unauthorised sharing, chargeback abuse and other misuse of the marketplace.
- To comply with accounting, tax, consumer-protection, legal and regulatory obligations.
- To improve reliability and understand technical failures. We do not currently use your marketplace account data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
Payment and service providers
We use carefully selected providers to run the marketplace. These may include hosting and database providers, email-delivery services, and Stripe for payment processing. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy policy.
Providers may process data only for the services they supply to us, subject to their contractual and legal duties. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement authorities, or another party involved in a business reorganisation when lawfully required.
Some providers may process data outside your country. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate contractual, organisational or legal safeguards required by applicable law.
How long we keep data
We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle support, disputes and security. Order, payment and invoice records are retained for the periods required by tax, accounting, consumer-protection and other applicable laws.
Download and security logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for delivery, fraud prevention, enforcement and dispute resolution. Temporary password-reset and download tokens expire automatically, although related transaction or security records may be retained.
When data is no longer required, we delete, anonymise or securely isolate it unless continued retention is legally required or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
How we protect data
We use technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information we process. These include password hashing, access controls, private file storage, limited-time download links, rate limits, payment-webhook verification and logging of sensitive delivery activity.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password and download links private, use a unique password, and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law and any valid exceptions, you may ask to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, obtain a copy, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or request deletion. You may also complain to the competent data-protection or consumer-protection authority.
Send a request from the email address connected to your account to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity. Some transaction, fraud-prevention and legal records cannot be deleted immediately.
Children and student accounts
Our products are educational, but purchases and account creation must be completed by a person legally able to enter the agreement or with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly seek personal data from children who cannot lawfully consent to its processing.
A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied personal data without appropriate permission should contact us so we can review and address the account.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the marketplace, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the website or account email where appropriate.
Privacy requests and questions can be sent to [email protected].
